ABOUT THE TALK
A, B, C: Three Paths in Design
In this talk, Sofia Silva presents three possible career paths in the field of design: working as an employee, pursuing a freelance career, or starting one’s own company. Drawing from her personal experience, she explores the opportunities, challenges, and lessons associated with each path, reflecting on how professional choices can evolve over time.
Throughout the session, she also shares concrete examples from her journey—from working in a studio, to collaborating as a freelancer with international clients, to founding her own studio, CRITERIA.CC. The talk aims to offer a realistic perspective on starting a career in the creative industries and to help students better understand the different ways of entering the job market.
